COVID - 19

Our clients know that health and safety has always been a top priority at Bliss.  Our team offers essential self care therapy to our community, and we value the importance of mental and physical wellbeing.  We are honored that we are able to spark joy through a simple mani & pedi, a joy we want to continue to give.

We hope we can operate like the way things were prior to COVID - 19, soon.  In the meantime, we are adjusting to follow South Carolina State Board of Cosmetology  guidelines and beyond, to provide services as safe as possible.  We established these protocols to create a transparent environment to help put us all at ease during these times.  Please help us maintain the safety of our community, who we love to serve.  Thank you for your love, trust, loyalty, patience, and for understanding our vision for safety.

  • Our Promise

    • We promise to follow South Carolina State Board of Cosmetology  guidelines always. We will always strive to do our best.  We have always done more than required, and hope to lead by example.

    • When we opened our spa, we incorporated many medical protocols as we believe these are best practice.

    • Our team is thoroughly trained in proper PPE use, hygiene, and sanitation.  We value continuing education and conduct frequent training  as new products and better techniques emerge.

    • All of our technicians are Barbicide® Certified, the main Hospital EPA disinfectant most beauty professionals have chosen to use.

    • In addition to Barbicide®, we have chosen a second Hospital EPA, CaviCide® to use in conjunction.  CaviCide® is widely used in medical facilities because of its shorter contact time for surfaces.  We have been using this two step EPA system since we opened.

    • Air quality is important to us.  This is one of many reasons why we do not offer traditional acrylics.  Upon construction, we chose a medical facility grade, negative air pressure HVAC ventilation system with carbon filters.  In addition, our Austin Air Healthmate Plus®, a four stage medical grade air purifier, removes 99.97% of all particles larger than 0.3 microns and 95% of all particles larger than 0.1 microns.

    • We have added sneeze guard dividers in our reception area and as well as for our mani stations as extra precaution.

Thank you for taking your time to read these protocols prior to booking an appointment.  This information will be posted via QR code on our door for you to review again prior to entry.
